Ab-Avon has Spent $13.6K on Investigator in Data Breach

ABINGDON — An agreement-for-services document sheds light on when Abingdon-Avon District 276 hired a private investigator to look into a breach of its data management system.

And a billing invoice — approved by District 276 before payment — shows on April 12 the district paid $13,636.60 to Garrett Discovery, Inc. of Decatur for services that commenced Feb. 5.
